Resident Trash & Recycling Etiquette, Requirements, and Guidelines:
Collection time frame: 7:45am to 5pm
Trash and/or recycling must be prepared for collection by 7:30am to ensure timely collection on your scheduled day.
Unbagged trash is strictly prohibited. All trash must be bagged and securely tied at the top. Bagging and tying your trash help contain odors, loose items, and keeps the receptacle cleaner.
Proper bag size and strength: Use bags that are strong and durable and appropriately sized for trash you are disposing of. Avoid overfilling and stuffing bags beyond their capacity to prevent them from bursting or tearing.
Keep liquids out of trash. Empty containers of any liquids before tossing them in bags.
Hazardous waste is strictly prohibited: Refrain from depositing hazardous material, electronic waste, bulky items, or other prohibited items in the cart. Dispose of these items through other alternative services to ensure safe and proper disposal.
All recyclable items must be thoroughly rinsed and dried before placing them in the recycling cart provided.
Keep ALL non-recyclable items out of the recycling cart.
DO NOT place loose plastic bags, stretchy plastics, or flexible wrapping/packing material in the recycling carts. These items should be disposed of in a trash bag and placed in your trash cart.
Place all glass bottles and jars in an 18-gallon bin provided.
Please respect our carts provided. While we provide the carts for use, free of charge, any damage or destruction to our carts will result in a $165.00 charge.
Noncompliance with Waste & Recycling Guidelines:
In instances where our trash and recycling guidelines are not followed, we will implement necessary measures to ensure compliance. Subscribers found in noncompliance may receive written notices detailing observed issues and offering guidance on corrective actions. Our objective is to uphold clean and sustainable practices and we appreciate your cooperation. Should you have any inquiries or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Removal Services - Single Item Removal and Bulk Removal Packages:
Learn about how you can get unwanted large and extra items removed at a discounted price through our Removal Services. Unlike our competitors, we provide in-home and curbside pickup. Once you place your order, we’ll contact you to arrange for a scheduled pick up.
Inclement Weather Service Adjustments:
In anticipation of inclement weather, such as heavy rain, snow, high winds, severe storms, or tornado watches/warnings, we may adjust our waste collection schedule. Pickup may occur either the day before or the day after the scheduled collection day to ensure timely service and minimize disruptions. We will notify you directly if a change occurs. We prioritize the safety of our personnel and the community during adverse weather conditions and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
